Is there software that will do the calculations and indicate the trend?

Thanks for your answer and for answering so quickly. Following your directions, I have now got the window with the chart to pop up. The key advice was "To see a chart simply click on the name of one of the selections." I didn't think of that because the selections weren't underlined or in another colour.

Hi,

The charts shown in the article are still available through Betfair. As an example here's how to see one of them:

1. Login to your Betfair account

2. Select "Horse Racing" in the markets list

3. Select "UK"

4. Select "Wolv 30 Oct"

5. Select "13:00 7f Mdn Stks"

At this point the market should load and you'll see a list of selections in the main part of the screen. To see a chart simply click on the name of one of the selections. Continuing with the above example, clicking on "History Boy" would open a popup window with a price/volume over time chart along with additional information about the current bets available.

This should work with any of the other types of bets available - you may need to make sure your web browser isn't stopping the popup window from being shown.

I've read your article "An Introduction to Betting Exchanges", and it so interested me that I've opened an account with Betfair. After I logged in, I was distressed to find that, apparently, Betfair doesn't provide Price over Time charts, which are indispensible for a technical trader such as me.

You seem to know where to get charts for Betfair, as your article includes one. Would you please let me know where I can find on the Web charts that track prices on Betfair?
