Dr Mircea Dologa attended New York University and Cooper Union School of Engineering and Science in New York, graduating from the latter with a B.S. in Theoretical Physics. He obtained his Doctorate in Medicine from the School of Medicine in Paris. After graduation and internship at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and Xavier Bichat Hospital in Paris, he worked in medical field of gastro-enterology, and took MBA courses in finance and management at the University of South Carolina, in Columbia and also at the French School of Business & Finance - HEC in Paris.

After holding the position of General Manager for several years in the French pharmaceutical industry, he decided in 1992 to focus exclusively on his investments and the financial markets.

As a Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) and founder of PitchforkTrader, Dr Dologa has written numerous articles on trading that have appeared in Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities, Futures, The Technical Analyst, and The Trader’s Journal.
