Joe Kinahan has 19 years experience as a market maker and in capital markets. He first traded independently on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and then joined ING in 1997. In 2000 Joe joined Saen Options as a Vice President and moved on to Van der Moolen USA in 2004 as a Managing Director. Joe is currently trading on behalf of Wellington Capital (USA).

Joe’s experience and expertise is primarily in US indices (OEX, SPX, and DJX) and equity options (American Exercise) both on and off floor. He holds a Masters Degree in Financial Markets and Trading from Illinois Institute of Technology and is currently trading in the OEX at the CBOE. Joe is a frequent guest on Bloomberg Television’s “Trader Talk” giving insights into US options markets and volatility.
