Blogs / Trader Locator update

Posted on Monday September 18th 2006 @ 11:59 in Rob’s blog

Fans of the Trader Locator will be pleased to know that, thanks to the efforts of the Google Maps developers, it now works well with Internet Explorer.

All of the location markers should now be loaded in around 20 seconds - a vast improvement on the several hours it used to take Emoticon Firefox users will also see an improvement, while Opera remains as lightening fast as ever.

As you can see from the screenshot below, the reach of our membership has started to extend into the Middle East and South East Asia, and we've also seen more members registering from mainland Europe. As you'd expect, the UK and USA are still the most popular locations.

If you'd like to appear on the locator map don't forget to enter your address in your profile. If you're currently in hiding for some reason then you can also choose to opt out!
