It is often said that Internet chat rooms and forums bring out the worst in people but as this BBC news story shows, some will take it a bit too far ![]()
I don't think any of the disagreements on TT, or any other trading sites, have ever gotten this out of hand - have they? Although I almost expected a mention of Bulldozer in the story ![]()

That is pretty shocking behaviour - perhaps it happens because a lot of forum posters are middle-aged men going through their mid-life crises... no doubt I'll receive some hate mail for that comment ![]()

I find that remark more than a little offensive.
Kindly withdraw it.
Thanks. Mo

I can understand being considered in the same sentence as Bulldozer would be offensive, so I've removed your name.

"A lot of experience traders/investors have stopped posting on many forums as they have had enough of being attacked for thier comments - this just shows how "sad" some people are....." Little Woman.
LW, I know what you mean, but the world is an eclectic place. Some people even feel they can and it is OK to attack people when they are banned and not able to comment, I bet this makes them feel very powerful.
I visited today just to see if this site had returned to being an active site/forum, I once enjoyed. Sadly, I found a wasteland instead of the erstwhile throng of discourse. Such is life.
Bull is posting on another site and still getting attacked by the same people who attacked him here and elsewhere. The difference this time is that the attackers are being banned. It is not rocket science.

Hi TTRob,
Thought you'd like to see Bull's reply:
Epi,
Thanx for keeping me informed of whats being said about me.
TT Rob has only half a brain and cant see that "BULLDOZER" was trying to get rid of the morons by having the GUTS to fight the monkeys/morons and all those that were deceiving other members at TT and other forums ie T2W etc... and keeping the forum alive with brilliant winning trades! and FREE education on derivative trading! 15 wins on a spin and NOT ONE losing trade is unheard of in both forums with membership totaling over 110,000 between them [TT an t2w]

Not really - bulldozer is rude and arrogant and his consistent attempts to derail any serious discussions on our forum resulted in his being banned from it.
At least on his own site he can behave in this way without fear of being banned - however given the fragile state of mind he appears to be in, switching dramatically from level headed options trader to raving lunatic, there is always the possibility he will ban himself.
I personally do not miss his or your contributions to the site.
Rob

Its quite scary. But its amazing what some people will do.
On another site, I asked a regular "ramper" if he ever recommended a share for "shorting". For the following week, he insulted me personally - found out my name and other information about me and posted it with really nasty comments.
For anyone who used to attend the odd "meeting in the south of the UK" that I used to organise - at the last meeting - someone arrived and was "attacked" by someone else. All caused becuase the person who arrived (who had been banned by a number of sites) had tried to "destroy" the other person in their work life (they had rung their employer and tried to get them sacked amoung other things), just becuase of a difference of opinion on a forum......
A lot of experience traders/investors have stopped posting on many forums as they have had enough of being attacked for thier comments - this just shows how "sad" some people are.....
